cold weather caught me

Hello, I was going to head South this weekend and had de-winterized the TT. Colorado has had a change of weather and now I'm not sure what to do. Some of the weather men say it is going to be about 32 and others say about 29 at night, but above freezing during the day. Will the TT be safe for a couple of nights or do I need to winterize. Thanks for any replies

  • It is now 24 degrees at my house with 3" of snow in the last two hours. The snow is supposed to be about 12" between now and Saturday midnight.

    I would winterize.
  • IMO, and being from WI, most things will be OK in those temps as it really takes a deep hard freeze to burst pipes. I've left water hoses out in colder temps and had no problems.

But if you're concerned, turn your furnace on and warm air inside would likely be enough to keep any water lines from freezing.
