I cannot attest to the diesel. I was hoping to use one last weekend, but ended up with a 2017 Canyon Crew Cab Long box with the 3.6 and 8 sp trans.
I towed a stock trailer north 300 miles, loaded with swine, and picked up my daughters and put their belongings in the bed. Proceeded to tow back 300 miles south with the load. The truck did everything I asked.
