The first Lance was purchased from a dealer in Chicago, which at that time was the closest dealer. Neither Lance nor the dealer has responded to this date to my pictures of the bubbled roof. The second Lance was repaired locally and Lance sent me a check for the $2100. It seems that some of the Schwintek motors had a flaw in them. But the issue there was there is no back up nor way to operate the slide in the event of failure. Both issues were first year design flaws.
As far as Escape, in 10 years mine will still be leak proof and worth at least 50% of my cost, I doubt you will be able to say that about your Lance.
