There is always a way to manually back-in a slideout! Even if my Lance were to leak, there is no chance of damage or rotting as the walls are 2" block foam insulation with 2 layers of Azdel.
Even the 2009 Lances (the first year of the TT line) are holding their resale value very well, that is if you can find one. I'd also like to say that the Lance is much more stylish and better looking TT's than the Escape, in my opinion. The Escape just looks clunky and out of date, especially for the price they're asking for them ($24,000 for the 19') The $24,000 is the base price? Plus all the extra doodads like A/C, a screen room, etc etc etc???)
