Hello,
I'd like to thank everyone for their input.
It was very interesting and informative to see what a lot of you consider a good haul and/or trip time. After reading all the comments and thinking about my driving habits I have decided to plan our trip shooting for from 400 to 500 miles each day with the first couple of days closer to the 400 mark to see how it goes. Of course once I actually split the trip up into it's segments I will look at what might be availabel for sight seeing within say plus or minus a 100 miles either way and adjust the schedule to fit that. The wife and I are both retired so there is really no need for hurry up in the schedule. If we substituted a couple 300 mile days for one 500 or 600 it would not make any difference at all. I think I could do 600 without any problem and still be fresh to go the next day if necessary. The last thing I want is to be overly tired and pulling into our daily destination needing to set up in the dark.
A few years ago when the Grandson was MotoCrossing up and down the east coast we did the bike and equipment hauling. Sometimes 600 to 800 miles at a clip. But that was a little 12 footer, nothing like pulling this 33 footer around.
So thanks again for all of your input, it was very helpful.
