I've had many TCs from small to large and think it's the best way to travel.Starting my search for a short 8'-9' camper with a good interior space and large holding tanks.Fortunately, a local dealer carries Adventurer and I stopped by yesterday to take a look.This was the first time I had seen one and I was impressed with the quality, amenities and fit/finish.3 models that would fit my criteria. 2) 8'6" one with slide, and an 8'9" non slide.The non slides have a Gen option for a LB but the slide model only has a SB Gen option.Very nice interiors, basement models with large tanks. 42g fresh and 31g grey/blk and a pullout storage tray.The non slide 8'6 has a HUGE wet bath and adequate interior space and the slide model has a smaller bath but great useable interior space and good outside storage.An option is the rear "comfort step" which is nice, but adds about 18" to the length.Anyone have an Adventurer or any comments good or bad, let's hear about them?

We are on our 2nd AMLRV camper. Our 1st was an 810WS we had for 10 yrs...great camper. Went x-country 2x.We liked it so much when we moved up to a slide we went with AMLRV again.3 yrs now with the new EC and all is well. Very happy with our decision.Huge tanks, good storage, and big bath were a big selling point for us also.Good luck, Bill

X2 in regards to Adventurer. Owned a new 86 FB in 2012 and wish I did sell it. Comfort bumper was very nice!!Had some minor issues after delivery and AMLV took care of them all very quickly. I would like to find another Adventurer soon. Will look at used one soon Since DW is happy now with our new Jayco TT. Want a TC again for short stays and spur of the moment trips.

Are Eagle Cap and Adventurer built but the same company?If so what are the differences?Billyray50, how far did you camper overhang the bumber of the truck and how long was the Comfort step?Looks like a nice setup, what was your wet weight and how did your truck handle it?

We have had no issues with our 05 Adventurer.I did modify the Black / Grey water disposal by adding another shutoff valve at the end of the pipe.

We have a 910 FBS and love it. It has so much room and the storage is unbelievable. For a TC, it has the most counter space of any we've seen.

When we first bought it, it had a screw coming out of the skin, Adventurer authorized the repairs quickly. The dealer itself was the holdup in the repairs.

Since then, we've had no issues. We use it off the truck routinely and it's rock steady with a combination of scissor jacks and wobbl-stopprs.

With Adventurer you get a lot of camper for the price.

We have the same 2012 86FB as BillyRay. The back porch is about 17 inches off the camper. It hangs about 20 inches past the bumper of our Chevy.
Dislikes- only 1 window in upper bed area. No coat closet- only closet is by bed.
Likes- big bathroom, porch (the dog REALLY likes it), how little problems we had once it got past the initial wasn't checked out thoroughly before we got it.

I'm on my second Adventurer, I had a '99 810WS and now I have an '13 89RB. Both have served me well. I don't think you see many down south but lots of them up here in Canada.

We've owned our Adventurer for 2 years now and love the floor plan. No issues at all with it.

Yes, Eagle Cap and Adventurer are both built by the same manufacturer and info can be found on the same website.
For the most part Eagle Cap has more options (or higher end options) and costs more.

Yes...AMLRV is the Parent Co.
EC used to be the premium line and employed a unique end cap construction (front and rear).
As of 2015? they are built on the same line...
Having said that I would not hesitate to purchase either.
