Commercial Plates for 250/2500 in New York State??

I was just told by a friend that in New York State that I would have to register a 250/2500 or 350/3500 as a commercial vehicle because it weighs over 6000 lbs! If true, that means I can't use any of...

NY lawmakers make any changes??? LMAO!!! Not when they will get a 50k pay raise (80k to 130k/yr and work part time at that. Not to mention the crooked gov of this state will also see a pay raise ( 180k to 230k) which will make both the lawmakers and gov the HIGHEST paid politicians in the US and the gov doesn't understand why the taxes are so high.
