Commercial registration on New Truck Questions

Picked up our new truck last week and found out due to the 14000 gvwr in our state, CT, I had to get commercial plates or register the truck at the 12500 limit of combination plates and probably be ov...

We have been commercially registered in Ct since 2011. Never stopped at weigh stations or notified insurance company. I don't think the truck squad is too concerned with RV's,but the state likes the increased annual registration fee.
