I had one of insurance carrier refuse to insure my F250 as they don't do commercials.
If you really want to use truck commercially, the good insurance premium will be in $2000 range.
That's the point the truck will not be used commercially just plated that way and used just for the TC ,in ct the cost goes by gvwr and I think for a 14K vehicle it is 180 a year , this happen at the dealer the day I picked up the truck so I had no time to research the difference in cost between combination and commercial plates just went with what would keep me legal at the full 14K gvwr.
