Since you are are driving quite a distance to go and see it, the dealer is wanting something to hold it, not sell it before you get there. I can understand that. You may get there and not like the unit but they may have lost a sale to someone else by saving it for you. They have not suggested yet that they even want a "holding fee". If they do it should be a small amount. Do not sign an offer to purchase agreement or give them a lge down payment without seeing it.
