Commode question

We bought a travel trailer from son to live in while he is in college. This is our first time to own tt and everything seems fine. Except for when you flush the toilet, you flush and the toilet paper and waste falls out of the commode and you have to take a picture of water and pour down the toilet for the waste to move. What are we doing wrong?
  • Not necessary to skip the TP part. If you want to spend the $$ for "RV Toilet Tissue", fine. But you can accomplish the same thing for lots less money with using a cheapie, single ply paper. To test and make sure it's ok, take a glass jar with water, put a piece of the paper inside and give it a shake. If the paper begins to dissolve and pull apart, you're fine. Yuk! on the trash basket! We used TP with our HTT for going on 8 seasons and now with our TT. Never had problems....actually don't know anyone who has had any. The secret ingredient to the whole process is a good black water treatment product and plenty, plenty of water. Lack of water is the culprit.
