Hi and welcome. Our youngest went on his first camping trip at 4 weeks old and he is still camping with us at 19. My camped at 5 months and our oldest at a year. We camped in pop ups the first 10 or so years and had a blast. Based on the tow vehicles you are talking about that might be best. The fun thing about pop ups is the kids like to help set up so everyone joins in. If you do decide to get a truck or a Suburban or the like it will open you up to many trailers. I towed a 35 foot trailer with a F150 for 3 years without an issue. I wish you luck in your search and keep asking questions. Don't rush into anything and don't believe car or trailer salesmen when it comes to towing, do your own research.
