Don't let a baby stop you from rving/camping. We started with tents and then got a hybrid. Traded that in and bought the TT in signature. I towed the hybrid, a 23 ft., using a half ton Ford van with the biggest V8 they put in them in 1996. It was horrible in the mountains so I bought the diesel in my sig knowing that I was going to eventually move up in size as we got ready to retire. My family (dad) has had many rv's from truck campers to class A motorhomes. Only you can decide what will work for you and your family. If I were starting over again, I would find the RV (trailers are also called RV's) that suited my needs and then buy the truck. I would not consider any tow vehicle other than a truck but you may want to consider a large SUV depending on future family plans. We had two kids and knew we would not have any more so the truck was perfect for us. If you have never camped before, I would definitely rent an RV and try it before buying one. BTW, welcome to the forum.
