I agree that you should start used. On average it takes most of us 4 RV's to decide what works best . Best to start out with older used ones so you can decide what features and things you would like to have and what you don't really need. Plus, the older one is going to have more problems and you will learn how all the systems work as you repair them. Don't look at that as a failure ! Instead look at it as a learning experience. Then when you have learned what you do and don't like, and have learned how it all works. Then you will be prepared to purchase the correct new one for your family.
