OP HERE!!!!
WOW guys, thank you for all the replies. It’s going to be hard to reply to each comment and a lot of them center around the same topics so let me say this
The model of the camper is the 2019 Eagle Cap 811 , which is great for winter camping AND is rated with the highest R values in the industry (according to Eagle Cap) , I have a 30k but furnace that will run off propane and 2x20lb tanks + ONAN 2500 LP GENERATOR. The basement area (where my tanks are) are all ducted for heating.
As far as the dating, I really don’t even care at this point, apparently I have way more important things to worry about
Someone says ill need to fill up my propane tanks twice a week. BJ’s wholesale club is nearby and its $16 per 20lb tanks so that’s not too bad
IM going to be close to several dump stations so im not too worried about that
There is NO electric hookup or water hookup available at the marina, its very bare bones
BUT
I have 200 watts of solar which I hoped would be enough to keep the furnace going in conjunction with the ONAN 2500 LP generator
Im most concerned now about my tanks freezing. If im gone for 12+ hours in a day, how do I mitigate that?
Regarding power - do you think the solar and the generator will get me by? I can also add another 170 wats of solar too
Thanks again
Appreciate you all!
