There are many good selling points in these units. However it is the front storage that knocks most people's socks off. I have not seen any TT that I could easily load both Honda 2000s in the front storage.
Not trying to be nervous nellie but i have seen a stored TT (no propane on board) burn to the ground and it was quick. Dry pine and toxic glue goes quick, real quick.
1. In regard to living space , be careful storing things with gasoline (or gasoline vapors) inside an RV.
There are warnings in the pdf's of RV's to "not" do that. Im not sure , but i would also check the RVIA codes. Under an island bed is not a sealed air tight compartment.
2.Tongue weight. just keep in mind .....
Towing with a 2500/3500 truck is the way to go here . Towing with TW in excess of 1000# with a 1500 like the OP has, will probably not work so well if he loads up the area under the island bed and/or carries stuff behind the rear axle in his trucks bed.
We have to be careful to balance loads using 1500's.
1500's handle better when we load heavy items forward of the rear axle. Keep an eye on rear axle and tire ratings of a 1500.
