One more thing about MPGs posted here ... many here rarely go over 62 and don’t mind going 50 over the mountains. Obviously, their numbers are going to be way off if you drive 70 or more especially with different gears.
Very true and it also depends where you live and travel..Going 70 mph over most of Idaho grades will only get you wrecked and dead.(laffin)..
If I had a diesel, I would not pull a trailer or haul my camper 70 mph anywhere..Diesels have there place for hauling heavy loads..I just do not see the need with a TC..And there a poor daily driver for groceries..
I live across the street from the only diesel mechanic within 100 miles, that works on them all..Some of the repair cost of diesel trucks would scare the heck out of me if I owned one.
