For me trying to compare/choose between Diesel and Gas is really a difficult thing to do, now if you wanted a suggestion between say a ford/chevy dodge all with diesels, then it becomes easier.
If you buy a diesel you want your truck to preform in a certain way, and of course you have to pay for that, its the cost of doing business. I dont think you will get too many arguments about a diesel being more expensive in almost every way. You are paying more for it because you WANT higher torque, better fuel mileage, longevity, and you want your truck to pull/haul in the best way possible.
The bottom line is; what do you want? and how much money do you want to spend?
Im not trying to sway you in any way.
