California sure sucks with fuel pricing.
I just drove yesterday from Las Vegas to San Francisco to notice almost a dolar difference on a gallon.
But driving diesel sedan, I made it on single tank, averaging 29.4 mpg, while pulling small trailer.
My dually shows average in signature. That is 95% with camper, or 7k cargo trailer.
Sure paying $9k up front for diesel from Ford is not easy decision, but there is risk in everything.
Diesel fuel is the cheapest to manufacture and trucks can use B20. The truck stops on I5 had it for $3.77 yesterday.
