Considering moving from Diesel to Gas...talk me out of it?

This is getting cornyer!
Packed 20 gal of diesel in the trunk of a Mercedes across multiple states to save $10-20 total in fuel cost?
Low geared trucks turn lower rpms - free radical.
And anyone who's experience with a 6.0no Ford diesel turned them off of all diesels doesn't really understand. That's like saying X brand of gas engine had X type of problem, so not going to drive a gas powered vehicle again....
