Considering moving from Diesel to Gas...talk me out of it?

For me, I had the choice of being close to the maximum ability of the gasser verses having extra capacity when owning the diesel - Like Rick, I did could not get the diesel to cost out less over its life verses a gasser with my use. What swayed me was the 11k lb truck carrying a 6k lb camper while towing an 8k lb trailer. The extended range of a diesel was a plus, but not really a factor since chassis cab trucks come with 50 gallon fuel tanks.
