Consumer reports most reliable, GM on top domestic

As I understand it, CR did not "test" any cars/trucks in this last report. They went by the feedback provided by consumers and their report listed brands, not individual models. They compiled over a million replies to come up with their findings.

In the report they mentioned some brands that scored high in reliability but were low scorers in some crash test areas. They did not want to rank any manufacturer high in reliability if they did poorly in the safety tests. This sounds too political for me so, like many others, I always take these findings with a grain of salt.
