I have to chuckle...
Everyone HATES CR until their brand of choice gets high marks; then it goes from "rag" to "unbiased source of information" faster than a chipped Cummins can go 0-60.
I think it even would apply to about 85% of the diehard bashers; if in 6 months CR put out that "the 2014 (Ram, GM, Ford) has proven to be off-the-charts in fit & finish and reliability" there'd be lots of chest-thumping going on with a sudden lack of "what a rag!" commentary.
