Converter charger

Son just purchased a 2004 Terry Quantum, he said it was a 33?. He's having trouble with the electrical system going dead. Where is the Converter located and how do you assess it??
  • WFCO has a reputation for making converters that do not work when new much less 16 years old. When I bought my current TT, the brand new WFCO converter would not go into bulk charge mode. It would put out 13.6 volts and no higher. Rather than deal with a warranty issue and get another WFCO, I personally installed a Progressive Dynamics 45 amp converter. It worked great the day I installed it and still does now. I installed a PD my last Class C in 2010 and it was still working great when we sold it in 2017 after 60,000 miles.
  • If this helps Trailer is a 330FKDS Terry. Converter is a WFCO 45 amp model. Thank all for any help, hard to help him being 150 miles away... Location is near breaker panel in a hole (holy cow on location to get to!!!
  • check voltage at battery, plug in, check again. did it go up?

ps it will be by the breaker panel likely near the fridge/furnace
  • Probably close to or in the fuse-breaker panel
Assuming that it’s getting 120v power you should see 13.6 vdc output. Some have fuses to check. Post the model number for best answers.
