Completely agree on the NO bottled water. We added a PUR faucet mount filter, in addition to the filter for the whole system, and we're perfectly happy with the taste and purity.
We don't travel with more than minimal amount of water in the FW tank...just enough for a bathroom stop/hand washing enroute. We always have at least water/electric and don't feel the need to haul around 8.3# per gallon of water x however many gallons your tank holds. About 250# + or - equals more weight, equals more gas, equals more $. CG water fills all our needs.
