Cordless drill for scissor jacks

Must be the off season. Several pages of what drill to use for jacks! For the record, I don't use one. Not because I don't want to, but because I keep forgetting to bring one with me. And my stabs squeaked louder than any drill, no matter what lube I used.

What we really need to know is if the OP has a big enough truck to haul the drill!

todays paper has a harbor freight coupon for a 18 volt 3/8 drill and flashlight kit for $19.99. Probably not manly enough for some people, however.

I have different brands of both drills and impact drivers and could care less what others use but the small impact drivers are a great tool, no ego involved.

Makita 18V drill does the job perfectly. No need for impact.

I'll have to agree with an earlier posts use what you bring with you and most of the time your diesel TV is louder than any 18 volt impact gun. Chances are if they cant stand you putting down or up 4 to 6 stabilizer stands when you get there and when you leave, guessing less than 5 minutes each time total including walking time from each jack when the impact gun is not in use, your awning lights will drive them totally insane. Just telling it how it is. Most of the place we camp at, my neighbors want to borrow mine when they take down when they leave. But will say it is during the mid morning or late afternoon when I use mine.

We had some inconsiderate camper wake us and many others about 5:30am last month raising his jacks with an impact driver. If you are planning to use one at least show some consideration for your fellow campers.
