Correlation between weight and "quality" build

I don't think light automatically = poor quality.
However light building techniques can often contribute to poor quality.
The foam sandwich floors that were used in many light models created a lot of problems. The disintegrated quickly if the got wet.
Yes all RV's will have issues if they leak but some techniques/materials are more durable than others.
