I think the one thing that most of us can agree on is that the RV industry usually lacks in quality. Most of the manufacturers are trying to keep costs down and skimp on things that the buyers usually don't care about. That is why many of them skimp on the frame quality. How many buyers crawl underneath the TT before they buy it? Even if they did, is the frame visable and would the buyer know what they are looking at?
Even Airstream has frames that are way too weak for the load they are carrying. Their failure rate is right up there with many of the low priced TTs.
I have seen very few TTs that use a real high quality frame. The old silver Avions come to mind, but they are out of business.
