It seems it comes down to smaller trailer/smaller TV or a bigger trailer with a more comfortable floor plan but a truck that either doesn’t fit in the garage or doesn’t have an extended cab. Of all the compromises, we don’t want to be anywhere near underpowered. I’d rather crawl over DH in a crawl over bed than fight the hills in either direction.
We were out driving today and I saw an F150 with no extended cab. It didn’t look as bad as I thought it would. (I’m remembering the strictly utilitarian pickups from days of yore. )I think next steps are to spend some time in various RV’s to see what we think will work. Thanks for the info about the dealer in Wheat Ridge. I’ll come back with more questions once we’ve had a chance to visit some dealers.
