Most of the warranty for the 6.0L and 6.4L was on Navistar since it was their engine. Ford would pay the dealer and then file the warranty claim with Navistar to get reimbursed. Navistar started denying warranty from Ford and was one of many reasons why they parted ways with the 6.7L. They completely cut ties with the new F650/750 body styles that are no longer being built by Navistar.
