I don't think it's very common, but aluminum rims can crack. I found this on my fifth wheel in February on the first leg of our winter trip in Florida, when cleaning the rims after the 1400 mile start.
I just replaced them all and kept one for a spare now. I found out there was a 5 year warranty and emailed the manufacturer pics and they sent a new one.
Try finding an rv dealer that carries trailer rims....
So, apparently, a crack at the spoke is considered a defect.
