This thread illustrates the problems that can ensue when folks ignore the posted size limitations (not saying that was the case with the OP). They are usually there for a good reason. Often the size limitations have less to do with the size of the sites and a lot more to do with the tight access roads that larger rigs, especially those pulling toads simply cannot safely navigate. :E
Lots of CG's/Parks were built waaay back when.... RV's meant smallish trailers and pull throughs were rare to non existent. The tip above, about checking out potential sites via Google is a good one. Even if you can squeeze your rig, to include the toad or TV, completely into a site there will often be less than enough room to fully extend all of your slides and encroaching into your neighbors site is simply NOT an option. Amazingly enough lots of folks simply lie about the actual size of their RV's {and then brag about doing so on Forums like this}. :h
Kind of funny how being unable to fully open all of the slides in tight sites never seems to come when folks are extolling the (gotta have), virtues of slides.... just saying. :B
