Just to elaborate; what was irritating was that this was a private campground and most of the sights were roomy enough to handle the more modern rigs. Unfortunately the “old section” was not.
Since we had reserved our spot three days prior and had told them the arrival date and the TT size was 26 ft.; I thought they would schedule us into the main camping area. Instead it was handled fist come first serve.
Also, even the older area would have been acceptable had the twenty spaces been used to place only 14 units or so. Instead we were stacked up like a dealer’s sales lot.
We thought about getting up early and catching a spot in the Glaciers National Park’s first come first served section but we had a two day cancellation fee so we were stuck.
Just one of the foibles one runs into in the RV world and the St Mary entrance is at it peak right now.
