As was said that is a lawyer recommendation meant for people that don’t tow anything.
Even though it’s lighter it’s still going to get bad mileage due to the height of the trailer. Even towing my snowmobile trailer with my V-10 3 place 2k lbs. it gets 2 mpg better than when I tow my TT. And with our 13 Explorer I got 12. Yes it was -5 when I was towing but it makes a difference.
