On the CruiserRV spec pages (for both the Shadow Cruiser and the Fun Finder), the spec for the axle is "standard" "EZ Lube greasble HD axles". I googled that and they are Dexter axles.
Have I missed something?

The EZ Lube refers to the grease nipple on your bearing caps. They are handy, but are not a substitute for proper bearing maintenance.
The topic of the thread relates to tire wear caused by misaligned axles.
