Some of you may have read my thread about my free dealer oil change program I have and if I should use it or not. Anyway I think I've decided to just do it myself going forward. Couple questions...

Shell currently has a $5/gallon mail in rebate on Rotella oil. With the rebate I can get T6 locally for $16/gallon and T5 for $12/gallon.
Fleetguard LF16035 is the oil filter. I've also gotten WIX filters at my local CarQuest.
So far I haven't found aftermarket fuel filters. MOPAR #'s are 68197867AA and 68157291AA. I found them as a package deal on Amazon for $95.
One mod I intend to make is re-routing the drain hose for the engine compartment FUEL filter. The stupid thing is too short and drains right on top of the front axle. I'm going to get a long hose and run it back to a location behind the axle so it will empty directly into a bucket with out splashing.
Oh yeah, slide a 1 gallon zip lock bag or plastic shopping bag over your oil filter after you get it loosened. The back will catch the oil after the filter drops down. Also, turning your wheels all the way to the left makes filter access easier too.
