Cummins to Hemi?

Towed with both and currently running with a GM 6.0 gasser. My thought is get what you want, but if your truck is paid for then I would find anyway I could to make it work. I personally hate truck or car payments. I would even put my bikes inside the camper if I need to. I have seen some racks above the truck for kayaks but don't recall who made them. If you want simplicity then gas all the way. For me as I figure out every detail of ownership, gas is always cheaper for me to own. Your situation or anyone's else's can be different of course. Anyway sounds reasonable since you know what to expect while using a gas engine to pull. I think that gas jobs are good to pull with, but diesel has an advantage due to being turbo charged and pull easier in the long hills. Only you can decide for sure, if your really considering this swap then go drive the other truck for sure and see how it works out And fits into your needs. Good luck on your decision but a paid for truck is really hard to just trade in.....just my thoughts.
