I'm surprised Uhaul would rent you that dual axle trailer. They wouldn't rent me anything to pull behind my explorer, So I borrowed my mom's Mountaineer (mechanically identical) and they even hitched it up for me.. Gotta love our litigation happy society.
I was a little surprised too. I did the reservation online even, which follows all their rules strictly. It even offered me the option to rent the largest 6x12 enclosed trailer!
The trailer I ended up with was their old 5x10 model. I think its actually a little heavier than the 6x12 empty, but I wanted to have clear view behind the trailer, and I don't have clip on mirrors for the Fiesta. Only reason I didn't use the van for that trip was because the van was too wide to leave in the street where I did the load-up. That, and 30 MPG towing is nice too;) And, the more often and heavier I tow with it, the more I'm impressed!
