Yep, it is less weight on the pin, but I get the hee-bee-gee-bees seeing my front gear flex very much. I know they have an inch or so of play, but if the tires slip during the pull test (gravel or slick concrete), then the front gear takes all the punishment if they are "pinned" to the ground. I even stopped using my Rotochoks and went back to a conventional chock because it holds the wheels better during the pull test (more surface contact).
