Any feedback on the Curt Triflex brake controller? I see that it is similar to the Tekonsha Primus IQ, my Primus just went haywire and I've pulled it out and temporarily replaced it with my fiddly old...

No experience with the Curt Triflex...but a tried, true and proven P2 is less money. I see the Curt for around $140 and a P2 can be had for around $120 or even less.
