Cushion between the cabover and Truck

For the gap between the trailer and the cab sliding windows it will allow me to store more gear in the back of the truck and still have some access to it. The cushion between the bottom of the camper and the top of the truck bed was just to insulate any impact.

I am new to this so if there is advice, I am open to it.
