I wish I could find a 12 volt mini split and I would use it. I want 12 volts because I want to run it off batteries through the night and avoid the inverter efficiency losses. I plan on at least 630 amp-hour lithium battery capacity which will run a 12 volt ac unit about 6 to 8 hours. I had that setup in a Class B van and it worked great. No generator noise (and smell) during the night.
