Anyplace we've ever camped where gas stations are in short supply...the electrical systems are typically marginal. Lucky to get 30amp power and often 15amp power. If 50amp power is available, gas stations aren't hard to find nearby.
So if you need to fill a 100kwh battery bank, at best, you can expect 3kw if you use minimal draw for actual RV use (assume 600w for the RV)...that's 33hr to recharge. If it's a 15amp supply or you want to run the air/con, you could easily be looking at 66hr to recharge.
If you do a short day's travel and then sit there doing nothing for 3 days doing nothing, that can work but for most that's not viable.
