Yep, there is misinformation and hype on both sides of the argument. Many on both sides only seeing/believing what they want to and disregarding anything else as derogatory or lacking intellectual thought or logic if it does not fit what they want to be true. Dismissing "negative" facts or obstacles that haven't been solved yet doesn't mean they go away.
Well, generally I try and provide accurate non-confrontational information on charging formats, times, habits, networks, access and occasionally costs. There is a tremendous amount of bad information floating around about charging.
I provide pictures when I can. Cost varies so much by region one needs to do their own research on cost.
We are able to provide true personal experience from 5 years of living with EV’s from the two most common brands, Tesla and Nissan. Interestingly enough my favourite EV is neither of those as my taste still leans towards the Jaguar I-pace. Maybe a someday replacement for my leaf but not anytime soon.
I can’t imagine any of my posts being an advertisement for any particular brand of BEV but hey it’s all context I suppose. It’s hard not to focus a lot on Tesla as they are the definitive name in EV’s right now. That may change some day but now everybody else combined doesn’t make as many EV’s as Tesla and that won’t change for awhile.
JMHO
I'll be suspect of advertising and hyping Tesla and Elon again.
I just bought more Tesla stocks,:R
I don't really mind Tesla and Elon (he is really nuts sometimes). Some of them are nastier in the Tesla owner's forum. And it's not a crime yet, but too, a lot are just stupid. But, they provide entertainment and fuel for witty snarky comebacks. So who cares, really.
Again, a lot of the techie analysis are pure gem. At that @Reisender is what you've been providing here. As for me, what do I know?:Z
