So, as a newbie, I have been reading this thread with great interest, and performing my own, independent (off this website) research (as suggested).

I'm still a relative newbie here and really appreciate the back and forth you all provide to give some insight into this topic. Some of you might remember my first post as it was about tires. My brand new trailer blew a tire on the way home from dealership after taking delivery. I ended up buying four new tires from a local dealer in town who knows his product quite well as I have purchased at least five sets of tire from him over the years.
I just like picking up a tidbit here and there and trying to muddle through a lot of stuff I deem inconsequential to my agenda, Thanks again to everyone.
As Walaby says much more insight can be gained by searching off this website. There are dozens of webs out here that use some type of RV and non RV trailer with one thing in common....tires.
A search on the net shows a open minded person what is going on in the rest of the trailering world vs just this thread or even all of RV.net trailering forums.
Hundreds of pages of input out here.
Then add input on the subject from actual tire experts.
Tireman9 input from his postings on many different RV websites plus his rvtiresafety.com blog.
And CapriRacer postings on RV.net along with his answers on tires for a trailer type questions; Barry Smith @ allexperts.com website.
