If you do end up buying the Kumho 857, when you are mounting them, ask the shop owner if you can come out to shop. When you have one of the old tires off, and one of the new 857's there also unmounted, "feel" the structure of the tires, the sidewalls, etc, and report back to us what differences ( if any ) you feel.
Also, when you first tow the trailer with the new tires, see if you can feel a difference in how the trailer handles behind your tow vehicle, especially at let's say 50 to 60 mph.
