Danby Fridge DCR122 black

Tomorrow is my GO date for our first trip in the new rig...

This thing isn't cooling... it was plugged in in the outdoor kitchen, I plugged my trailer in to top off the batteries and heard it running... i thought... hmph.... opened it. not cold... water bottles were hot..

So i thought maybe the voltage dipped and the unit was stuttering... So i unplugged. Dragged the trailer to the side of my condo, plugged into 30A, and after 3 hrs.... still warm.

I threw some ice packs in the freezer compartment, some cold soda and water in there... hoping for the best...

any thoughts....

  • Got the same Danby model in our 2013 WhiteHawk. Only time it's been on was at the PDI and it worked great. Only control I know of is the temp control in the fridge. If not cooling it's got a warranty on it..........
  • I hear the fridge running. I'm gonna pull it and see if there is a magic switch somewhere
  • You should be able to hear it run as this frig has a compressor. aarond76 has good advice. Is it on a ground fault circuit that needs reset? Circuit breaker off? Works on an extension cord plugged into the house?
  • 1) Plug something else into the refrigerator outlet to see if the outlet is working.

    2) Someone else on here reported a similar issue. They pulled the refrigerator out and found an on/off switch on the back of the unit. They also swore they had heard it running, dealer said there was not on/off switch, they could not find anything about an on/off switch in the manual.
