Why are some Americans so afraid of the gov't.? Sometimes regulations are needed to protect the public at large.
I doubt the Canadian gov't would do any better with it, at least not in this province. ;)
Double towing is illegal in Ontario ( i believe it's legal in Quebec) but I see it done all the time. I think only the MTO would bother pulling some over for this and not the police, and I see very few MTO enforcement vehicles...
I think the best would have been a friendly conversation with them (it's Canada eh!) as noted, maybe they didnt even know what WDH does and you could have helped them out...
