Exactly what law did this person violate ?? Without any axle weight numbers everyone is just guessing.
Its funny some RV folks talk about laws being violated but turn right around and claim laws are just for fleecing RV folks.
Having pulled 18k-20k GN trailers commercially with the same size trucks as we pull our 18k-20k RVs with it always rubbed me the wrong way the RV world has no regulations to follow from a safety standpoint such as trucks and trailer annual safety inspections/new entrant audits before being allowed on the road/knowledge of actual gross weights and combined gross weights.
Before the anti gov crowd gets their panties in a wad I'm not saying we all need a med card or have to spend 10k a year on commercial insurance or required to pass through scale houses or roadside safety inspections as our commercial brothers.

When I was on the road and saw another LTL trucker with a saggy truck buttz I would always approach him/her and remind them that a truck with a saggy buttz is a dot target and usually get a trip to the impound lane for a close look why the truck is sagging so bad even if the combination is within axle/tire and gross weight limits.
As a fellow RVer I would have approached the new guy with some just be careful and slow down advice till the tail draggin' the ground problem is fixed.
