If they did what you say they did, they committed fraud. Maybe a host of other crimes. At the least, I would let the BBB know. There is most likely no way to prove they loosened the screws so I'm not sure how it would ever evolve out of a "he said, he said" argument.
There is no way I would ever do business with this company, ever.
